Payment Policy _______________________________________

Youth Class Tuition: Tuition is priced yearly.  Your yearly tuition is split into ten equal payments with each payment due on your first class of the month for your convenience.  Tuition is not based on the number of classes in each month, it is based on the number of classes per year.  Therefore, the amount of tuition due will remain the same each month and will not vary due to the number of actual classes held in each month.  There are 2 snow days built into each class time for the year.  If more than 2 classes are missed due to inclement weather, a make-up class will be offered.  Students may not participate in classes if balance remains unpaid into the second week of the month. Make checks payable to: Dance Fusion. Please mark the student’s name and class time on your checks or envelopes and place in the tuition box located in the lobby. There is a $30 service charge for any returned checks. Credit Card payments are accepted through PayPal on our website or cards can be processed at the studio desk.  Auto payment is available via credit/debit cards.  Please see the studio desk for details.  There are no refunds or credits for missed lessons. A late fee may be applied to any payments received after the 10th of the month. Students may not drop classes for a month and expect their place to be held the following month (except in the case of doctor excuse.) We allow 2 make-up lessons per school year. You will be charged for all classes until notification is received. Two weeks' notice is required for cancellation.   NO cash refunds, only credit toward future sessions or classes.  Click here to make a payment.

 

December/Winter Performance Fee & Costume Policy: A Winter Performance Fee of $35 per performer will be charged on October 1st and is due with October tuition for all participating classes.  The performance fee covers all dress rehearsals, hall rental for dress rehearsals, costume rentals and any extra rehearsals for the Winter Performance.  Costumes are typically borrowed from Dance Fusion stock, so there is not an additional costume fee for this performance. 

 

June Recital Costume Fees & Costume Policy: The June Recital costumes are usually ordered from a dance costuming company in early November. A specific costume is selected for each class.  If you withdraw or change classes after the costumes have been ordered, you will still be responsible for purchasing the costume. Costumes are special ordered by size and cannot be returned or exchanged.  Even though we measure each student carefully to ensure the best fit, be prepared to make some minor adjustments. A non-refundable $25 costume installment will be collected for every student in each class November 1st and again December 1st.  Costumes are ordered in November/December.  The remaining balance will be due January 1st. The typical total cost is $60-80 and this costume is yours to keep after the performance.  Costumes are handed out to parents only with a fully paid account balance during our mandatory parent meeting week in late May.

Injury Policy:  *Communication with the instructor and studio owner/office manager is very  important.  If a dancer is injured during class or outside of class, please let the instructor know as soon as possible, so that we can understand the injury and any necessary modifications.  If a student is unable to fully participate in class  due to an injury, she/he is invited to observe the class or to participate with modifications to the movement, as to not create more injury. Students must present a doctor's note with diagnosis and prognosis of an injury, if unable to participate in class for more than one week.  A doctor's release for full participation must be presented for all concussions and extensive injuries.  Regular tuition payments  are due for all  injured students observing classes.  Unfortunately, placement cannot be held for injured students who cannot participate or observe their classes.

 Adult Classes:  Full payment must be made at the time of registration.  Once payment is received, your space will be reserved.    Refunds may be given prior to the first class meeting. No refunds or credits will be given after the first class meeting for missed classes for any reasons except for emergencies, severe illness, or injury. If a class is cancelled for any reason, a suitable replacement class will be provided.  Make checks payable to: Dance Fusion. Please mark your checks or envelopes with class selections and class times and mail them to us, or place in the tuition box located in the reception area at the studio.
